Numbers are comfortable abstractions. Words, however, hook deeply and anchor us much closer to what the data really is.

The most valuable viz in your career is one you'll never expect to make. It'll sneak up on you when you don't expect it and, over time, fill a space you didn't realize existed.

When people are good, kind, and compassionate, they let their actions speak for them. Much like ASL, much is said through movement, though quiet rhythms, and expressions. But, you have to be looking to get the message.
